In January-October Ukraine’s electricity exports fell 0.8% to 3.2 bln kWh. In monthly terms the exports doubled in October to 420.5 mln kWh as a result of restored supplies to Hungary.

According to the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, the electricity consumption is up 10% YoY in 10M2010. In monthly figures the consumption is up 20% MoM in October.

According to the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, the electricity production is up 9.8% YoY in 10M2010. The monthly increase in production was 21% in October.

According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Fuel and Energy, electricity consumption and production are down 6.2% MoM in September. Cumulative consumption is up 9.8% YoY, and production is up 9.7% YoY in 9M2010.

The NERC left its regulated tariffs for Ukraine’s power distributing companies unchanged for October at the level of UAH 0.55/kWh and UAH 0.69/kWh for users with voltage classes 1 and 2 respectively.

Ukrnafta’s oil and gas condensate production fell by 13.5% in 8M2010, to 1.7 mln t, while its natural gas output dropped 17.7%, to 1.7 bln cm. At the same time, Ukraine’s total oil and gas condensate production declined 11.3% to 2.4 mln t, and natural gas output fell 6.1% to 13.3 bln cm.

In August Ukraine’s electricity consumption rose 2.1% MoM to 14.4 bln kWh, bringing 8M consumption to 119.8 bln kWh (+10.2% YoY).

Yesterday Prykarpattyaoblenergo’s recently privatized 25% stake was passed to two off-shore companies, Ukranews reported.

On Friday the Kiev Administration secured a USD 190 mln (UAH 1.5 bln) loan from state banks Ukreximbank and Oshchadbank to compensate Kievenergo [KIEN UK] for the difference between heating tariffs and input costs.

According to the Energy Company of Ukraine, a holding company managing four Ukrainian GenCos – Dniproenergo [DNEN UK], Donbasenergo [DOEN UK], Centrenergo [CEEN UK], and Zakhidenergo [ZAEN UK] – domestic GenCos’s total electricity production rose by 9.3% YoY in 8M2010, to 31.8 bln kW. In monthly terms the output increased by 17.9% during August.
