According to a note from the State Statistics Committee, the average real salary has fallen 9.1% YoY, while the nominal figure has grown 4.3% YoY and 0.3% MoM, reaching UAH 1851 (USD 243).

Ukraine’s law makers voted yesterday to hold the country’s presidential elections on January 17, 2010. According to the figures released by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), the BOP deficit in April grew USD 1.1 bln. Therefore, the BOP deficit in January-April reached USD 6.3 bln.
