Bogdan Auto Plant cut output by 66% YoY in 2M09: MIXED

New data issued by the press service of the Bogdan Corporation indicates that the Bogdan Automobile Plant [LUAZ UZ, BUY] boosted production in February, compared to January 2009, by 132%, representing an increased from 1,604 to 2,818 cars. In February, the plant manufactured 321 KIA cars, 222 Hyundai cars, and 2,275 VAZ cars.

Turboatom signs new USD 19.5 mln contract: POSITIVE

Ukraine’s foreign reserves shrink in February

According to a note from the National Bank of Ukraine, foreign reserves fell 8.2% MoM (USD 2.36 bln) in February 2009, thus reaching USD 26.46 bln.
